KGE is a tool designed for visualizing and manipulating knowledge graphs. It allows users to create, modify, and analyze graphs by adding or removing nodes and relations. The application supports saving and loading graphs in JSON format, making it easy to store and share your work.
Creating and Editing Nodes
- Add a node: Enter the node name in the "Node name" field and click "Add Node".
- Remove a node: Enter the node name in the "Node name" field and click "Remove Node".
- Move a node: Click and drag a node to move it around the canvas.
Creating and Editing Relations
- Add a relation: Enter the start node, end node, and relation name, then click "Add Relation".
- Remove a relation: Enter the start node and end node, then click "Remove Relation".
- Select a relation: Click on a relation to display its information in the right panel.
Saving and Loading
- Save the graph: Click the icon to save the graph as a JSON file.
- Load a graph: Click the icon to load a graph from a JSON file.
- New graph: Click the icon to start a new graph.
Resizing the Canvas
- Increase canvas size: Click the button to increase the canvas size.
- Decrease canvas size: Click the button to decrease the canvas size.
Selecting Nodes and Relations
- Select a node: Click on a node in the graph to display its information in the right panel under "Node Info".
- Select a relation: Click on a relation (edge) in the graph to display its information in the right panel under "Selected Relation".
- View all nodes and relations: The right panel also displays a list of all nodes and relations in the graph. You can click on any node or relation in these lists to select them.
Tips and Tricks
- Use left-click to select the start node and right-click to select the end node when adding relations.
- Check the action log to see the history of operations.
- Use the Graph Stats panel to keep track of the number of nodes and relations in your graph.
