KGE is a tool designed for visualizing and manipulating knowledge graphs. It allows users to create, modify, and analyze graphs by adding or removing nodes and relations. The application supports saving and loading graphs in RDF and JSON format, making it easy to store and share your work.
Node Management
- Add Node: Enter name and select type (Class/Individual)
- Edit Node:
- Double-click node or use edit panel to rename
- Change type between Class and Individual
- Add custom attributes with types and values
- Filter Nodes: Use search field in node list
Node Attributes
- Add Attributes:
- Attribute name
- Type (String/Number)
- Value
- Language tag for strings
- Remove: Through attributes panel
Relation Management
- Create Relations: Select source and target nodes
- Edit Relations:
- Modify labels through edit panel
- Click to select relations
- Filter Relations: Use search field in relation list
Visualization Features
- Visual Filtering: Non-matching elements appear semi-transparent
- Visual Types:
- Classes: Solid circles
- Individuals: Hatched circles
- Canvas Controls: +/- buttons to resize workspace
Import/Export
- Supported Formats: JSON and RDF
- Complete Export: Includes all attributes and metadata
Tips & Tricks
- Use left-click for source node and right-click for target node
- Double-click nodes for quick editing
- Filtering works in real-time as you type
- Use "Toggle Panels" button to maximize workspace
